Portland, Oregon-based pop artist Lo Lytes, aka Jameson Morris, joins forces with pop singer Alana Wealthy on their brand-new single, “Gentle the Method.”
Mixing silky-smooth textures of nu-disco with pop savors, “Gentle the Method” is about rising above negativity, encouraging authenticity, and shifting into a better vibration.
Lo Lytes’ earlier singles – “Dropping My Thoughts,” “Satan You Know,” and “Fuck With My Coronary heart – have collectively amassed a million streams on Spotify alone.
On her half, Alana Wealthy started singing when she was 14, performing acoustic music, and releasing covers on YouTube. Her sultry, distinctive voice collected a couple of million views. Since then, each her voice and her sound have advanced, resulting in performances at Portland Trend Week, the Portland Trend and Model Awards, Seattle’s Benaroya Corridor, and being featured in Nylon Journal. She’s shared the stage with Jojo, Michelle Department, Scorching Chelle Rae, Arnel Pineda of Journey, and Richard Marx.
Though her sound is unquestionably danceable, Alana’s deep lyricism units her aside from the run-of-the-mill pop artists.
Based on Alana, “Earlier than I began songwriting and performing, I used to be at all times writing poetry. I like to consider my songs as my word-thoughts enveloped within the liberating feeling that dance-pop music usually renders.”
“Gentle the Method” opens with Alana’s plush, sensual tones driving a contagious, potent rhythm stuffed with vibrancy. Gleaming washes of harmonic colours give the tune creamy, scintillating layers as Alana’s crème de la crème voice imbues the lyrics with heat, voluptuous timbres. Alana’s voice is undeniably probably the greatest extant, lush, velvety, and oh so deliciously nuanced.
Aglow with luscious flavors of nu-disco and alluring pop aromas, as excellent because the music is, the icing on the sonic cake of “Gentle the Method” is the voice of Alana Wealthy.
